'Your ceremony, your choice'

Independent Civil Funeral Celebrant Services

Some grieving families have never had to organise a funeral and are often in a state of shock and confusion. A good Funeral Director will take care of most things but the Funeral Celebrant is there to talk to you about your loved one and will help you to write the service, choose the readings, poems and music and will deliver as much or as little of the service as you require. Fiona is an Independent Civil Celebrant so there are no restrictions on songs, poems or readings with religious content. Quite simply, it’s your ceremony and your choice so should you wish to include The Lord’s Prayer or to sing All Things Bright and Beautiful, that is absolutely fine.

Some families prefer to write and read the eulogy themselves but others require the Celebrant to do this for them. Whatever you choose, Fiona will be there to support you and to help you say your final farewell in the best and most fitting way possible.

Heritage Celebrant Services is pleased to recommend the bespoke flower arrangements of Dottie Channing-Williams and also the finest caterers in the region, Top Nosh Cuisine.
